Call of Duty’s yearly release schedule means that speculations on the next title are always floating around. It’s not any different this year and a character leak just sparked talks of a possible Black Ops reboot that’s in the making.
We know that Call of Duty: Warzone is here to stay. Activision isn’t letting that cash cow go anytime soon. Modern Warfare won’t have the same fate though and we’re already looking out for the next CoD title that will take its place. We already have a lead on where developers will take us next.

The latest clue Activision have subtly dropped on our heads is the name of a future Warzone Operator which miiight just mean something to you if you’ve played the first couple of Black Ops titles.
Some diligent fans found some peculiar files in the Warzone coding which explicitly mention the name Frank Woods. Woods, your favorite badass character’s favorite badass character, is apparently set for a return sometime during Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 as a playable operator.
We’re not saying that confirms anything, buuut why would Activision tease us with Woods – a Black Ops staple and fan favorite, if they aren’t going the full mile. Releasing Woods as a Warzone operator fits the bill of a new BO game appetizer so well that it’s hard to believe this isn’t just another sign that a continuation, or more likely – a reboot of the other popular CoD series, is coming right after Modern Warfare’s revival.
