The Valorant competitive scene is currently in Stage 3 of the Valorant Champions Tour. We already saw the conclusion of Challengers 1, and now it's already time for the next one. Here's all you need to know about the upcoming Stage 3 Challengers 2 event.

The biggest Valorant tournament in 2021 so far was the Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik. It gave CS:GO a run for its money in terms of viewership and gave fans a first taste of international Valorant. Now, teams around the world are trying to qualify for the next big thing - Stage 3 Masters Berlin. In order to get there, teams will have to get through Challengers.

VCT Stage 3 Challengers 2 Schedule

The next important tournament in line is the Stage 3 Challengers 2. Some teams already earned a spot for the Challengers Playoffs after the conclusion of Challengers 1. As for the rest, they'll have another shot before the month is through.

North America Stage 3 Challengers 2

Teams in the most contested region in Valorant will have an easier time in the Challengers 2 event as Sentinels, XSET, 100 Thieves, and Team Envy won't be there.

  • Challengers 2 Open Qualifier - July 22-25
  • Challengers 2 Main Event - July 29-August 1

Much like the Challengers 1 event, we won't be seeing a closed qualifier, as the open one will determine the four teams. A total of eight teams will be fighting it out in the Challengers 2 main event. Four of them are already clear from Challengers 1:

  • Version1
  • Gen.G Esports
  • Rise
  • Pioneers

The top four teams in the Stage 3 Challengers 2 main event will earn an invitation for the Challengers Playoffs.

Europe Stage 3 Challengers 2

Things in Europe were really heated during Challengers 1, and we're bound to see some more action in the next one.

  • Challengers 2 Open Qualifier - July 20-22
  • Challengers 2 Closed Qualifier - July 22-24
  • Challengers 2 Main Event - July 28-August 1

Unlike North America, Europe will actually have closed qualifiers. In the open ones, we see a couple of big teams like Giants Gaming, Heretics and OG. The latter failed to make it to Challengers 1, but maybe they'll prevail this time. Eight teams are already waiting in the closed qualifier:

  • Alliance
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Team Vitality
  • Wave Esports
  • Team Finest
  • BK ROG Esports
  • TENSTAR
  • BIG

Another four teams from Challengers 1 got a direct invitation to the Challengers 2 main event:

  • Fnatic
  • Team Liquid
  • Team BDS
  • Rix.GG Thunder

Only the top two teams from the main event will make it to the Challengers Playoffs. Who are you rooting for? Tell us on Facebook or Twitter!
