Riot Games have just teased another new Valorant agent in their Year One Anthem video. The video gives some subtle clues about the new Valorant agent Deadeye. These were corroborated by a leaker on Twitter. Deadeye looks like he's going to be popular. We've got all the details below.
We've only recently had news of another agent on the way called KAY / O, not to mention the leaked patch notes for Episode 3 Act 1. But now yet more significant news is breaking around Valorant. Riot Games released a video to celebrate Valorant's one-year anniversary called "Year One Anthem" and in it, they tease a new agent named Deadeye. If there actually is a Deadeye then that's going to be huge, take a look for yourself:
The community seems so far impressed by the numerous small teases in the video. They all seem to point to this new Valorant agent called Deadeye.
Who Is This New Valorant Agent: Deadeye?
According to our friend ValorLeaks on Twitter, the new Valorant agent is called Deadeye and might be a duelist. And honestly, it kind of reminds us of Midas from Fortnite. Here is the leak with some nice pictures of Deadeye:
What also stands out in the pictures is the weapon Deadeye is holding in his hand. We are currently not aware of any weapon that looks like this - so it could very well be that we will get a new weapon with Deadeye. Or maybe the weapon is tied to one of Deadeye's skills, I mean with a name like that it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to predict what he might at least focus on.
In the past, Riot promised to release up to 6 agents per year and so far there have been Astra and KAY / O in 2021. Another agent for the next act would fit into the schedule. So far, however, Riot has not commented on Valorant's new agent Deadeye.
Note: We will continue to report on this story as it develops, so be sure to return.
When Is The New Valorant Agent: Deadeye's Release Date?
So far nothing more is known about the new agent: Deadeye, but we can comfortably assume he'll be released with Episode 3 Act 2. Needless to say, we're excited, he looks like he'll be super fun to use, so hopefully, he is released that soon.
