Pop Flash might be the big Valorant event in North America, but in Europe, we’ve got the LVL Clash 2 where underdogs will go against the region’s finest.
LVL Clash 2 is the continuation of LVL Clash. The latter was an event back in early May that featured only amateur teams, but in the end, only one remained – Valorando. Now the stakes are much higher as LVL Clash 2 will feature the best teams from the region. While the big orgs just received direct invitations others like Angry Titans and Wave Esports had to earn their spot. The tournament will feature a total of 16 teams and a prize pool of €15,000.
Among the participants we’ll find the undisputed Valorant champions of Europe – G2, as well as many others:
- Team Liquid
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- FunPlus Phoenix
- Need more DM
- Giants Gaming
- BBL Esports
- Angry Titans
- Wave Esports
G2 are still definitely the favorites to win the event. After all, the team has taken first place in every tournament so far.
The 16 teams will be split into four groups of four (all matches are Bo1). The bottom two teams from each group will be eliminated while the top two will advance further into the playoffs. In the playoffs, all of the series will be Bo3, including the grand finals. Note that there is no lower bracket here and a loss in the playoffs means direct elimination.
