There are some good cards, too

TOTSSF Week 3 presents the Saudi Pro League

Team of the Season So Far just keeps on giving. Even if we’re technically in one of the weaker weeks of the FIFA Ultimate Team festivities, the Saudi Pro League squad still has plenty on offer for the FUT lot. Here is what this TOTSSF has:

TOTSSF makes the trip to Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Pro League team faced an uphill battle with impressing the FUT faithful. Coming on the back of the Community-selected squad and the English Premier League roster is not the best possible timing but the Saudi league does contain some quality players, or at least quality FIFA 20 player cards, which is all we care for.

Remember Sebastian Giovinco? Yeah, well, he’s still playing. Not only that, but he’s playing well enough to lead the Saudi Pro League’s TOTSSF with an imposing 92 OVR. That’s probably the first time the 1.60 cm forward has ever been called imposing, but hey, size doesn’t always matter.

Another name that might sound more familiar to the western audience is Giovinco’s teammate at Al Hilal – Bafétimbi Gomis. The former France international is aging like fine wine and is having some of the best goal-scoring seasons of his career. That includes 20 goals in the French League 1 in 2017 and 29 in the Turkish Superleague in 2018. Now, he’s tearing up Saudi nets and the 34-year-old doesn’t seem like he’s stopping anytime soon.

Starting XI

EA Sports took into account the objectively lower level of the league and kept the standard roster to just a starting eleven. Here are the names of those that accompany Giovinco and Gomis on the Saudi Pro League TOTSSF squad:

  • GK: Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Mayouf – 84 OVR (Al Hilal)
  • RB: Sultan Al-Ghanam – 83 OVR (Al Nassr)
  • CB: Maicon – 87 OVR (Al Nassr)
  • CB: Igor Rossi – 85 OVR (Al Faisaly)
  • CDM: Anselmo – 90 OVR (Al Wehda)
  • CDM: Petros – 88 OVR (Al Nassr)
  • RM: Nordin Amrabat – 88 OVR (Al Nassr)
  • LM: Carlos Eduardo – 86 OVR (Al Hilal)
  • CF: Sebastian Giovinco – 92 OVR (Al Hilal)
  • ST: Abderrazak Hamdallah – 92 OVR (Al Nassr)
  • ST: Bafétimbi Gomis – 89 OVR (Al Hilal)
  • CM: Cristian Guanca – 89 OVR (Al Shabab) – SBC
  • ST: Romarinho – 89 OVR (Al Ittihad) – Objectives

These cards will be available for a limited time, so you better strap them FIFA coins and FIFA points, or else you might miss out.
