The Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League is an issue caused by excessive server load, and stops players from being able to play online. Following Rocket League's move to a free-to-play model back in September of 2020, the Call Limit Reached Error became a massive problem. It seems that with Season 3 and 4, this has been amplified.
Psyonix may be experiencing an insane volume of players on their servers right, because if you are experiencing the Rocket League Call Limit Reached Error, then... well, something must be causing it. It seems that despite Epic Games now providing server support, Call Limit Reached is not off the table just yet. A surprise? Not really, to be honest...
Can I Fix the Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League?
The Rocket League Call Limit Reached Error regrettably cannot be fixed by the user, as the error is linked to problems with Rocket League's server capacity. It is quite frustrating, though, especially if you haven't read our article (heh, I'm funny), because the error message itself provides basically no information. The only thing we can suggest is re-logging into the game, which seems to help from time to time. By resetting, you might get passed, and catapulted into the servers despite their capacity being overloaded. Sadly, in Rocket League you cannot swap between servers to find one that has not reached capacity. Maybe keep an eye on Rocket League's Twitter, as they will share ongoing server problems there.
So, this is a little upsetting, isn't it? Don't be too sad about the Call Limit Reached Error in Rocket League, though. You might not be able to play the game right now, but remember that this won't last.
