TNC Predator’s Dota 2 team parted ways with their captain yesterday and the roster is now down to four. Who will replace March?

It looks like the roster shuffles in the SEA region continue as after the big changes we saw in Fnatic, it’s TNC’s turn. The Filipino team bid farewell to their captain Park "March" Tae-won. March played with TNC for over a year as he joined the team in mid-September last year. Together with the team, March played in various tournaments, picking up the champion’s title in ESL One Hamburg 2019, MDL Chengdu Major, and ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia.

The news came from the team’s social channels.

In the official announcement the team stated:

Through many ups and downs, our Captain March, has proved his abilities to execute game winning strategies and correct judgements on the different aspect of the game for the team to fully realize its potential that will later become essential in winning the first Major of the current DPC season. He never let the team down and innovated how the game was played during that era. Park Tae-won will always be a key mover for this team and we will always cherish the fruits of the hardwork our roster achieved. Salamat March!

Unfortunately, the team has decided to go towards a different path to achieve our goals. Although this is where March parts his way from us, it is definitely not the end of our friendship. A great player and leader that we will encounter in our pubs and, if situation permits, pro tournaments.

March himself also commented:

There is end to everything, had a great run met amazing teammates and people. The best year I had in my long dota career. Thank you for everything TNC. GL in the future. Will miss dynamic pinoy fans.

The now-former TNC captain filled the position 5 in his team and it’s unknown who’s going to replace him. Currently, there are two nice options in the SEA region - Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong and Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon. Jabz was most recently part of Fnatic’s success, while Whitemon played for GeekFam until the organization disbanded.
