BIG changes to ADC are coming...
League of Legends Patch 10.8 Notes
Riot Games put the fear in us for Patch 10.7 with the release of Fiddlesticks who ripped and tore his way through the Summoner's Rift! However, a much scarier change is approaching... Keep reading for more details!
As we guessed from our previous article, it looks like Aphelios and Senna can't catch a break as yet another set of nerfs is coming for the two champions.
Aphelios and Senna aside, three new skins will arrive for LeBlanc, Morgana, and Zyra and they look dazzling. Each skin can be purchased for 1350 RP, including a Prestige Edition skin for Zyra.
They came to LeBlanc as if in some forgotten melody -- songs of the Black Crane, and its titanic heart long-imprisoned within the deepest reaches of the Elderwood.
Patch 10.8 saw several champions buffed up and they include:
Out of all of these, Ashe's changes are absolutely something to benefit from as her: Ranger's Focus (Q) bonus attack speed has been increased from 20/25/30/35/40% to 20/30/40/50/60% which is a rather dramatic number change for the arrow-slinging ice warrior. We would not be surprised to see more professional players picking Ashe after these numbers are in, so be sure to pick or ban it.
One champion worth keeping your eye on during Patch 10.8 is Evelynn. Her change to her (Q) ability Hate Spike sees her lasher and spike damage increased from 25/30/35/40/45 to 30/35/40/45/50. Leveling this ability first for the jungle is going to give you a great start to your clearing phase, so be sure to try Evelynn out.
Aphelios has continued to pull out the big guns as a pro dominant champion. We’re looking to attack his power curve as well as his ability to deal with the tanky front line threats that he more likely encounters in pro play.
Riot Games gives life and also takes it away. Patch 10.8 witnessed several League of Legends champions kicked to the curb who include:
- Master Yi
Poor Aphelios just can't seem to catch a break as he's yet again the target for nerfs to his abilities. His stats level up has now changed from 3-18% bonus armor penetration to 2-12 lethality, which is quite dramatic for the champion. We fully expect to see more changes coming to Aphelios as Riot Games can't quite get that sweet spot for him.
The Patch in brief
Riot Games provided another image for us this Patch 10.8 so if you need a quick rundown, we've got you covered:
Patch 10.8 saw some much-needed changes to champions, especially Ashe and Senna. While the changes are needed for certain damage dealers, other champions are dominating Summoner's Rift that needs addressing. Diana and Kassadin are the main offenders at the moment. If you need a full list of the additional changes coming, be sure to check out the official League of Legends 10.8 notes.
