The stars have aligned! A wet dream for nearly every CS:GO fan out there is coming to life. Legendary AWPer Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács is joining forces with the Swedish legends at Dignitas, albeit just for one tournament.

GuardiaN and Dignitas – a match made in heaven

Dignitas and GuardiaN’s parent team Natus Vincere have agreed a deal which will allow the AWPer to play for Dignitas in their FLASHPOINT Season 1 campaign. The American organization was forced to make a move because of Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli’s inability to secure a US visa.

The young Norwegian’s misfortunes turned into a blessing for old school CS:GO fans. The remainder of the Dignitas roster are four of the five Ninjas in Pyjamas players that lifted the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major title and set a record with 87 consecutive map wins in 2012-2013.

Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Richard “Xizt” Landström and Adam “friberg” Friberg, alongside hallzerk, signed for Dignitasin January, which was a blast from the past we thought we would never get as it was. Now, with GuardiaN joining the legendary foursome, the amount of jizz could not be accounted for in any measures know to man.

No matter how the season goes for this lineup, the move is going to be worth it simply on nostalgia value. My goodness, I can’t wait! Can you?

Oh, which reminds me. The inaugural season of the FLASHPOINT league is bound to begin in just three days – on March 13. There’s just this small issue that there are nine teams confirmed for the league so far, out of twelve. These next 72 hours are promising to be extremely turbulent for the league and amusing for any neutral spectator, and we’re going to be there to tell you all about it!
