Aim Gods Is Out! What Is Aim Gods?
So a new shooter was released and is showing up in the Twitch top 20: Aim Gods. Ok... sounds cool, but what is Aim Gods? We’re here to answer that question.
Aim Gods is out. So far, so good, but what exactly is it? A Valorant clone? Hmm... no. It’s actually a brand-new shooter developed by Finalmouse – a company that makes gaming mice. Yeah, that’s right. More than that, it already had a $250,000 tournament. An event, that featured select streamers and served to promote the title.

Some of the famous players that took part in the Aim Gods Invitational included:
- Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom
- Jay "sinatraa" Won
- Tarik "tarik" Celik
- Turner “Tfue” Tenney
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar
- Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf
- Brandon "aceu" Winn
Finalmouse sure did their homework in terms of marketing. Hype? Check. A big event with famous streamers to promote it? Check.
In terms of gameplay, Aim Gods is similar to Valorant, but it’s an "arena shooter" – in the most literal sense of the word. The mode we saw in the event was 2 vs 2 and first place was taken by Zayt and Htag. Here’s some footage from Summit1g’s perspective, where you can get a good idea of what the game’s all about.
You have a certain number of spells you can use and you select the ones you want before a match. Some will make you invisible or invulnerable, while others will provide shields, healing, or other effects. Players have 100 health each and bullets deal really low damage, so it’ll take some time before you eliminate an opponent. Naturally, aiming for the head deals more damage, but so far there's only a single weapon available. Variety is definitely not something the game can brag with.
There doesn’t seem to be any accuracy penalty while moving, so you’ll truly feel like an Aim God. Actually though, the game seems to focus more on teamwork and coordination rather than actually aiming properly.
If that's got you interested, then you should know the game is currently priced at $29,99 and you can only purchase it from the official final mouse website. Is it worth it though? That’s for you to decide.
