Assassins Creed Valhalla has become one of the most popular games since its release on November 19th, 2020. The main development of the game was led by the Assassins Creed Origin team out of Ubisoft Montreal. It was first announced in April 2020 and fans were told that it had taken over two years to make this game.
Now we see why. The game looks absolutely stunning in its open world. Players get to become immersed in the Viking lifestyle by playing the raider Eivor. It is your job, as the player, to lead your fellow Vikings against the Anglo-Saxons. Another great thing? Eivor can be either male or female.
Now an important distinction to make is that the game differentiates between skills and abilities. Abilities are learned through books and readings – sometimes also through quests – which are scattered all over the map, while your skills are things that players unlock by investing in Valhalla’s sprawling skill chart.
Skills are both active and passive abilities, as we mention in the video. Sometimes you automatically get your loot, while other times you have to physically stomp the floor to get your opponents to fall flat on their faces.
Skills aren’t just specific skills, but can also just be buffs to already existing skills which the character has. It is important to buff up and use the skills which will make you the strongest and best Viking of them all. Not all of us have brains like Vicky, right?
