We're all extremely hyped for Horizon Forbidden West, and for good reason. Now the first gameplay reveal of the Sony-exclusive open-world game will finally be shown this week. See everything you need to know here!
Horizon Forbidden West is on the horizon (no pun intended) and we are extremely hyped! The first game, Horizon Zero Dawn, was a fantastic open-world game and we can't wait to see what Guerrilla Games has in store for the second installment.
But unfortunately, after a nice, but short, announcement trailer, we haven't seen anything more from the game yet... until now. Because as Guerrilla announced today, the first gameplay reveal for Horizon Forbidden West is coming this week!
When Is The First Gameplay Reveal For Horizon Forbidden West Coming?
The first gameplay for Horizon Forbidden West will be shown on Thursday, May 27. This will take place as part of a State of Play, Sony's series of short press videos. The main event is scheduled to take place at 2PM Pacific Time / 10PM BST / 11PM CEST.

What Is Going To Be Shown From Horizon Forbidden West?
The State of Play will feature the first gameplay reveal for Horizon Forbidden West, totaling around 14 minutes of brand new footage. Sony describes it as follows:
During this State of Play, we will debut the Horizon Forbidden West gameplay reveal! In this 20-minute exclusive segment, you’ll be seeing about 14 minutes of brand new in-game action featuring our heroic protagonist Aloy, all captured directly on PlayStation 5.
We're extremely excited to see how the game will compare to its predecessor and how it will run on a PlayStation 5. Will it be very similar or will Guerrilla surprise us already? Doesn't matter, just give us cool ass Robo-Dinos again please!
