GTA Trilogy Remaster Trailer Officially Released

Rockstar just dropped the trailer for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Now, it's official: The GTA Trilogy Remaster is coming.

We now got an official trailer for the GTA trilogy remaster. This trailer showcases the graphical changes that are coming with the remaster and let me tell you: they look fantastic. It still has that old-school feeling, yet it looks so much better... great job, Rockstar. Here is the trailer:

Rockstar finally blessed us with a trailer for GTA Trilogy remaster. Granted, it's a short one, and more of a teaser, but it does finally, officially confirm that the Trilogy remaster is coming. But, you're not here to read me ramble, you're here to see the damn thing. Here you go:

Along with the trailer, Rockstar released a statement on their official blog, revealing what we can expect when:

In honor of the upcoming anniversary, today we are excited to announce that all three games will be coming to current generation platforms later this year in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals. We’re extremely excited to share more about these groundbreaking titles in the coming weeks — stay tuned!To prepare for launch, we will begin removing existing versions of the classic titles from digital retailers next week.

In addition, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be coming to iOS and Android in the first half of 2022.

Yes, that's right: The GTA Trilogy Remaster is coming to mobile devices, and, yes, we don't have to wait much longer until we finally get some real details on the remakes. We've speculated on this before, but we think we can expect more on October 22, which marks the 20th anniversary of GTA III.
