Due to the prevailing pandemic, BlizzCon 2021 will be held online and, as has now been announced, will be completely free for everyone to watch.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, BlizzCon 2020 had to be canceled completely. However, Blizzard announced in September that BlizzCon 2021 would be held online and be renamed to BlizzConline. The event will take place on February 19-20, 2021, and coincides with the 15th anniversary of the company's in-house convention.

As J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment, announced in the latest Fireside Chat, the entire BlizzConline will also be completely free to watch.
Despite the cancellation of the usual BlizzCon and all current restrictions, Blizzard is planning a spectacular online show for its community. There is still a lot of planning to do and more details will be announced in the future. However, several community contests have already been announced.
As part of the online event, there will be a cosplay exhibition, a cosplay contest, an art contest, a talent spotlight, a digital storytelling contest, and the March of Murlocs. Just follow this link to BlizzConline to register or read the rules for each contest!
