Fortnite just got an update with the latest Patch 3.12. Sadly, it's not the one we were looking for. Here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite 3.12 update in the battle royale.

The 3.12 update just arrived in Fortnite and many fans are wondering what exactly is in it? After all, it was almost 500 MB in size so there's surely something important in it. Right? Well, we'll have to disappoint you in this one.

Fortnite Update 3.12 Patch Notes

There are no official patch notes yet from Epic Games but if you check the official Fortnite Trello board (which is public and free to access) you'll find the following issues:

  • The Code Green Wrap is not displaying its numbers design.
  • Fixed an issue where players cannot see Arena playlists in the playlist select menu.
  • When queuing into competitive playlists (Arena or tournaments), the queue will cancel automatically. This issue is now addressed.

Aside from these, the team was also fixing some quests:

Players blocked from progressing Tarana’s or Raz’s Spire Quests should now be able to retry and complete them. This issue is now resolved. Players are no longer blocked from progressing Tarana’s and Raz’s Spire Quests and can now complete them.

Other than that the official Fortnite Twitter account mentioned that the dev team is already investigating a different problem.

Whether Fortnite update 3.12 fixed the "Invalid Client" error remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more details on the new Fortnite 3.12 update. For now, it's just bug fixes that some of us desperately needed. As for the major patch we're all waiting for, it's probably going to come out this Thursday, April 8. It's set to introduce the new Season 6 Week 4 challenges and the Recycler (Junk Gun)

April 7 Update

The Recycler was actually added into Fortnite with the 3.12 update, but it took some time before players realized it.

All that's left now is for the Season 6 Week 4 challenges to go live so you can complete them all! Did you have any issues with the new Fortnite 3.12 update? Tell us on Facebook or Twitter!
