The King has arrived in Fortnite!
Fortnite’s Black Panther Is Here Along With the Free Emote “Wakandan Salute”
Marvel superhero Black Panther is now available in Fortnite. Captain Marvel and Taskmaster are also available as part of the Marvel: Royalty and Warriors pack. There's also the free emote "Wakandan Salute".
Warriors can be formed for any reason, whether it be a king's responsibility, a soldier's duty, or a hired gun's price. Three of Marvel’s greatest characters — Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Taskmaster — arrive later today in the all-new Marvel Royalty and Warriors Pack!
Epic had hinted at Black Panther's arrival with the release of the Wakandan Salute emote on Monday morning. There were also many leaks pointing to it. Now the time has finally come!
During the last season of Fortnite, which was Marvel-themed, a large statue of Black Panther already appeared on the map and players could find a Black Panther superpower. At that time though, a Black Panther skin was never available in the Fortnite store. It's highly plausible that a Black Panther skin was planned last season, but was postponed after the death of Chadwick Boseman, who played the superhero in the 2018 movie. Now, a few weeks later, Black Panther is available in the store along with Captain Marvel and Taskmaster.
