EA Sports have given us the full list of stadiums that are going to be utilized in FIFA 21. In addition to the already familiar, six new playing grounds are going to be added to the count, taking it to 95 total licensed stadiums. Leeds United's home ground Elland Road, however, will not be available at launch.
FIFA 21 Official Licensed Stadiums
Authentic stadiums are an essential part of the FIFA experience and so every year EA Sports are making the effort to expand the number of real-life locations in which we can play. There are six new additions this year as we slowly approach the 100 mark.
These new stadiums are:
- Stadion An der Alten Försterei - Unon Berlin
- Benteler-Arena - Paderborn
- Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes - Granada
- Visit Mallorca Estadi - Mallorca
- Providence Park - Portland Timbers
- Elland Road - Leeds United
The last one of those - English Premier League newcomers Leeds United's home Elland Road, will not be featured in FIFA 21 at launch. The delayed end of the 2019/20 season meant that the FIFA 21 designers could not finish the stadium's makeout in time for the launch date, which is October 9. Leeds fans can remain hopeful. EA Sports promised to add the stadium via an update sometime after release, thus completing the full 20-stadium set of the EPL.
There are also a bunch of new locations included to Volta Football. Those include Sydney, Paris, Dubai, São Paulo, and Milan. While anticipation for the new version of Volta is far from being sky high, we can't deny that EA appear to be trying at least a little bit and we remain positive that this will result in a better overall experience in this game mode.
