Drake and Kanye West, two of the most well-known hip-hop artists of our time are feuding. Both came out with long-delayed albums just this week, West’s Donda having come out on the 29th of August, while Drake’s Certified Lover Boy came out on the 3rd of September.

The two artists have been throwing shots at one another, both in the verses on the album as well as through their social media pages, but now it has gone so far that Drake even leaked an unreleased song from Wests’ album.

What Song was Leaked by Drake?

In celebration of his album dropping, Drake was a guest DJ on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 radio show. There, he played an unreleased Kanye West song featuring André 3000 called ‘Life of the Party’. Allegedly this song was recorded for Wests’ Donda album.

The song mentions Drake by name and many believe it to be a diss track against the Canadian rapper. The songs mentions a text exchanged between West, Drake and fashion designer VIrgil Abloh.

How Did Fans React to the Leaked Song 'Life of the Party'?

Fans were impressed by André 3000 and his verse in the song in which he seemed to address his late mother directly. Fans felt that his bars were heartfelt and well versed, painting a wonderful picture of his mother.

The song was well received by various fans on Twitter who didn’t think that Drake leaking the song did himself any justice.

Donda or Certified Lover Boy — Which Album Won the Streaming War?

Both artists came out with their new albums in the span of five days with Donda being on track to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, while Certified Lover Boy is all but certain to reign as one of the year’s biggest releases judging by Drake’s consistent streaming numbers throughout the years.

Who will win the streaming and Billboard war though is yet to be seen. West releasing his album on a Sunday instead of a usual Friday has hurt some of his streaming numbers, but will it have an impact? We have yet to find out.
