Are you over 18 years of age or older?
Dota 2 came out in 2013, but don’t let that fool you. The game’s pro scene started a couple of years earlier when the game was still technically in its beta. The most prestigious Dota 2 event, The International, was held for the first time back in August 2011. It eventually grew into the tournament with the biggest prize pool in esports. This year, it already broke the record and it also managed to surpass the $40 million milestone. The 2020 Dota 2 Battle Pass was the most successful one thus far in terms of total prize money.
A lot of time has passed since the first International. Teams were created and then disbanded, many new players have joined the game, while others left the title for good. With the competitive scene growing, many organizations decided to join in an attempt to get a piece of the record-breaking prize pool. Today, we’ll take a look at the top Dota 2 organizations.
Just keep in mind that a list like this is usually subjective and there’s always more than one opinion. Note that the orgs won’t be placed in a particular order as there are still quite a lot of differences between them. Some have only recently joined, while others have been at it for years. What we’ll be taking into account, will be the organization’s achievements and how much the community loves them. Let's do this!
