The BTS Pro Series Season 4 came to an end yesterday, December 20. Here’s which team took a title in each of the three regions.

In the past week, we had some highly competitive Dota 2 with the BTS Pro Series Season 4. The event featured three regions (SEA, Americas and Europe/CIS) and offered a total of $125,000 in prize money.

Southeast Asia

The title in SEA was claimed by TNC Predator. The team was first in the group stage and had a good start in the upper bracket of the playoffs until they met Team Dog. The latter featured Abed “Abed” Yusop and Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang and some other famous players from the region.

TNC managed to defeat T1 in the lower bracket finals and made their way to the grand finale. After five full games, TNC Predator managed to take the series with 3:2 and exact their revenge on Team Dog.

Americas

In the Americas, we saw the return of Peter “PPD” Dager to competitive play. He joined the event with SADBOYS, a team that featured him, fellow TI-winner Clinton “Fear” Loomis, Moo, Sneyking and dnm. While the hopes for the team were high they failed to take first place. Both Thunder Predator and SADBOYS were sent to the lower bracket by 4 Zoomers as the latter made their way to the grand finals. Then the unexpected happened.

Thunder Predator made their way all the way from the lower bracket to the grand finals and took the series 3:1 against 4 Zoomers. We rarely see a South American team on top but the region proves over and over that they have what it takes to compete at the highest level.

Europe/CIS

Another surprise was waiting in Europe/CIS. Vikin.gg were the favorites here but things didn’t go as most of us expected. Just a day before the event Team Spirit signed the roster of Yellow Submarine.

It’s like the organization knew what’ll happen beforehand. Team Spirit met Vikin.gg in the grand finals and took the series with a convincing 3:1.

That’s certainly a good way to return to the Dota 2 scene for Team Spirit. The last time we saw the org was back in May during the OGA Dota PIT Season 1. Their latest line up seems promising as Yellow Submarine were able to match some of the best teams in the region.
