Just as we expected, Valve decided to extend the duration of the Dota 2 2020 Battle Pass until October 9. Will the prize pool for TI10 hit $40 million?

The Dota 2 2020 Battle Pass Immortal Treasure III is out and not only that but the pass itself is getting extended for the second time this year. The first one was due to Valve’s own mess with the in-game coordinator. As a result, players weren’t able to even queue for a game, the end date was changed from September 12 to September 19.

Immortal Treasure III is now available, featuring all-new items for Pugna, Clockwerk, Oracle, Treant, Gyrocopter, and Lich.

In addition to these items, each of these treasures you open also offers increasing odds of receiving a rare reward of 50 Battle Pass levels, a very rare Golden version of the Pugna item, or the ultra rare Phoenix Wings. As always, there is a cosmically rare chance you’ll discover a Divine Emblem.

TI 2020 Battle Pass Extended Again

With the end of the Battle Pass drawing near, many fans were still waiting on the last piece of content – The Immortal Treasure III. The pack of skins was released in the early hours of yesterday and to sweeten the pot Valve decided to also add three more weeks to the end date of the Battle Pass. This changed it from September 19 to October 9.

The Battle Pass will be extended for 3 more weeks, until October 9th, with the results of the Arcana vote revealed at that time (hint: it’s a purple melee carry that can cross distances with ease). During this final stretch, each Battle Pass owner can purchase up to two bundles of 60 levels at a 30% discount.

In addition to the extension of the Battle Pass, players will also be able to buy a special bundle that contains 60 levels. Each player will be able to get a maximum of two with the price for a single one standing at €15.50.

Valve also gave fans an update on why the prize pool tracker wasn’t updating, since some people noticed it.

The total prize pool is nearing $38 million and by the looks of it, Valve is aiming to get to that milestone of $40 million. In case that happens, and there’s a high chance of it with the special bundle and Immortal Treasure III, each player will receive 10 additional Battle Pass levels. Come to think of it 10 levels probably won’t matter at the very end of the pass but for those lucky few they might be enough.

In case you thought there won’t be enough time to get the next reward you can now do it. The results of the 2020 Arcana Vote will also be delayed to October 9. Who do you think will win it, Spectre or Faceless Void? Share your opinion on our Facebook page!
