Warzone Pacific Season One is going to be introducing a whole new meta, naturally. For those of you wanting to get ahead from day one, we've put together a guide on the best weapons to use for the most popular loadout types:

  • Long-Range AR / Ghost
  • Sniper / Sniper Support

These weapons are all fantastic, and with these attachment setups, you can give yourself a huge advantage.

Long-Range AR

This is for your go-to AR/Ghost Loadout. The weapon we've chosen plays like the Grau; it's an absolute laser, and very forgiving with a 75 round drum.

We've got a nice balance of recoil control, RPM, range, and damage, so this is really a jack-of-all trades weapon. You can be confident in this build for anything out to 70/80m, but from 20m and in, SMGs will have the advantage over you.

This will be popular for all skill-levels, but we can expect a high-skill meta to emerge when harder to control but lower TTK builds become more popular. For now though, on a new map, and with a lot to get used to, this is the best AR for most players in Warzone.

Sniper

This is going to be the first thing many of you are looking out for - especially on a map with such long, open lines of sight, like Caldera. You can find the Sniper Support meta beneath.

At the moment, it's still unclear whether the Swiss K31 or the Vanguard Kar are king, but with the Vanguard Kar, you can use it for both Battle Royale and Vanguard Royale. And despite the Vanguard Royale being slightly slower (470 ms to ADS vs the Swiss K31's 410 ms to ADS) it benefits from the Shrouded proficiency which conceals your sniper's scope glint. Which, needless to say, is huge.

Sniper Support

There was a lot of back and forth between advocates of the STG and the MP40 before Caldera's release. Both have potential to be outstanding Sniper Supports, but seeing how ImMarksman dominated the content creator early-access event with this STG build, we're going to be going for that over the MP40. It has just a touch more range and therefore versatility.

A real highlight here is that we can bring Fully Loaded, so it's a quite self-sufficient loadout. Some of you might be questioning the use of a 2.5x on a Sniper Support, but the G16 is a very clean optic, and it won't obscure your peripherals at all, so we do think it's the best option.

Enjoy Caldera, it's going to be amazing to let loose on a new map, and if you're looking to pick up Vanguard to get ahead on levelling some of these weapons then check out our review of the MP.
