Warzone Season 4 launched with two new weapons freely available to all players once they reach level 15 and level 31 –the MG 82 and the C58. The MG 82 in particular shocked the community with how powerful it is. Here's the best attachment setup and the meta loadout you'll want to run with an MG 82.

It's that exciting time of the year again when new weapons are released and sweeping balance changes are implemented. The community is in an uproar, naturally. But only a few hours into the new season and people aren't sure where to start complaining. The barrel changes are giving BOCW ARs zero recoil potential, and the SCAR is actually good now, but what about this new LMG? There are loads of them around as ground loot and people are starting to realize just how much these things slap. Well before a nerf comes down the road, here's a full setup guide for you.

What's The Best Attachment Setup For The MG 82 In Warzone?

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: 16.4" Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

The task force barrel has been reworked across all BOCW ARs and LMGs to give huge bullet velocity and recoil buffs - so that's going on. Then for the suppressor, we actually went for the standard 'Suppressor' rather than GRU to pump our ADS a little - the same reason we took the Serpent wrap. The Field Agent Grip continues to do God's work in the recoil department (pretty much a given on most Warzone builds) and the Axial Arms 3x is the best mid-range optic available in BOCW. It's no VLK but we like it.

What's The Meta Loadout For The MG 82 In Warzone?

The MG 82 is perhaps the only LMG quick enough that you aren't required to take a close–range alternative. For that reason, we suggest going with Ghost and taking the new AMP63 (basically a pocket SMG) as your secondary.

The Best Attachment Setup For An AMP63 In Warzone

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 6.4" Task Force
  • Laser: SOF Target Designator
  • Ammunition: STANAG 25 Rnd
  • Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap

This weapon was recently buffed in the sweeping 1.38 update and it's really packing some heat now. We think it's probably the best secondary in Warzone, and it's perfect with an MG 82. These attachments give it that little extra range while keeping things mobile.

Perks And Equipment

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stun

Double Time is great with this slower-moving build, it'll give us twice the normal Tac Sprint, and provided we have the right settings we'll be automatically Tac Sprinting as much as we can. Ghost is obvious because we aren't going Overkill, and Amped is somewhat predictable too - it'll help us pull for that AMP63 when people get in close. The Semtex can be exchanged for a lethal of your choice, but the stun is quite deliberate; slowing enemies down and having them move into your fire is absolutely key with an LMG.

Well there you have it, an MG 82 loadout to enjoy before the inevitable patch. Good hunting!
