Rank 3 – Krig 6

The Krig has a rather low fire rate but it does a lot of damage and is very precise. Due to its low fire rate, it is often outmatched by faster weapons in close combat but at long distances, nobody can deny its power.

With the right attachments, the Krig can even rival tactical rifles and snipers. If you avoid short distances and play a bit more carefully, this is definitely the right weapon for you. (Image credit: Activision)

Rank 2 – AK-47

The good ol' AK-47 also works well in Black Ops Cold War. As expected, it does high damage but also has a low fire rate and high recoil.

However! If you can control the recoil, you can take out enemies easily with the AK-47 – add some attachments to reduce the recoil and you have one of the strongest weapons in the game. (Image credit: Activision)

Rank 1 – XM4

The XM4 is just perfect. It has a high rate of fire, good range, and hardly any recoil. Even in close combat, it performs well. At longer distances, you benefit from its low recoil, making it easier to land more shots.
