Are you one of the many that are currently suffering from the dev error 5476 in Call of Duty? If so, then don’t worry about it, we got a fix for you!
Whenever Call of Duty gets an update, there are bound to be errors and bugs. That’s with every game and every update, it’s natural, it’s understandable, but it’s annoying the living crap out of us. You just want to play and get rid of the stress of the day and then you start the game and see: “dev error 5476” as soon as you load up Warzone.
If you’re frustrated right now, don’t be, because you can actually — hopefully — fix this with an easy method.
What is dev error 5476 in CoD?
Maybe, before we get into the fixing part, we should talk about what dev error 5476 is. Dev error 5476 prevents players from joining multiplayer and Warzone lobbies.
So literally the worst type of bugs/errors you could get.
But don’t worry, when we said we got a method to fix this, we actually meant it.

How to fix dev error 5476 in CoD?
The fix is rather simple and… odd, but players have reported that changing their calling card and emblem to something other than “randomized” helped them. So try changing your calling card and emblem, then exit the game and restart your router before loading up multiplayer/Warzone again.
This should help you fix the error.
As of right now, neither Infinity Ward nor Activision has reported on this bug/error, so we don’t know if they’ll actually do something about it and help the players out with this.
