We're slowly working our way through all the weapons in Black Ops Cold War, giving you the best setups for each weapon. Today, we’re looking at the second new addition to Season 2: the LC10.

Looking for the best weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War? You've already found a favorite weapon, but you want to know which attachments you can use to get the best out of it? Then you've come to the right place! We show you the best weapons in Black Ops Cold War in our setup guides.

After we already covered all the original primary weapons and shotguns, today we focus on the second new weapon from Season 2. Everything about the new assault rifle FARA 83, and a small selection of our BOCW setup guides you can find here:

With each season in Call of Duty, there are of course new weapons. Season 1 brought us the Streetsweeper, the MAC-10 and the Groza, and Season 2 brought us the FARA 83, and the LC10.

The LC10 is a new submachine gun and is unlocked at level 31 of the Season 2 Battle Pass. What makes it special is its incredible range, with easily controlled recoil. It has the highest range among submachine guns, and the second-highest projectile acceleration, right after the AK-74u. This makes it incredibly powerful, especially at medium ranges.

LC10 Setup

To make our setup accessible to all players, regardless of the wildcard that they choose, we will again limit ourselves to the most important five attachments for the weapon. Those who use gunslingers can occupy the remaining three slots, according to personal preference.

As usual, we'll focus on building on the gun's strengths. Thus, we won't present an absolute melee setup here, but optimize the LC10 for medium and slightly longer distances.

  • Muzzle: SOCOM Eliminator
  • Barrel: 11.9” Heavy Reinforced
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Magazine: 45-Round
  • Stock: Raider Stock

With the heavy barrel, we further increase the range by 18%, and the projectile acceleration by 80%. Don't forget the higher the projectile acceleration, the faster the bullet hits the enemy, which is an advantage, especially at longer ranges. The SOCOM eliminator gives us 85% muzzle flash shielding, and 17% reduced vertical recoil.

Meanwhile, the field agent grip improves vertical recoil by another 6%, and horizontal by 20%. To still be able to react quickly, we pack the scavenger stock on it, and use it to increase our running speed by 10%, and shorten the change from sprinting to shooting by 30%. Finally, we take the larger magazine to get more kills before we have to reload.

With the LC10, you'll be fine on almost all maps, and even outgun most assault rifles. In close combat, a MAC-10 will spray you down, but at all other distances, the LC10 is probably one of the strongest weapons in the game.
