After the nerfs for the Grau 5.56 and MP5, it's time to test other weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone. Today we show the best setup for the Oden, a real heavy-hitter.
The latest major update for Modern Warfare and Warzone has nerfed two of the most popular and powerful weapons in the game. The Grau 5.56 is still stronger than most other weapons, especially in Warzone, but still many players are trying out some alternatives.
In addition to the M4A1 or the very powerful AMAX, there are also weapons that often remain under the radar. We present one of these weapons to you today: the Oden.
The Oden has an extremely high range and very high damage, but a very slow fire rate and nasty recoil. Nevertheless, if you hit the torso or head, the time to kill is among the lowest in the game.
With this setup you can clean up well in Warzone, provided you have good aim and are used to the recoil:
- Muzzle: Colossus silencer
- Barrel: Oden factory 810mm
- Laser: Tactical Laser
- Stock: FTAC XL Elite wedge
- Underbarrel: Commando foregrip
The Colossus silencer hides you from enemies, increases effective range and reduces recoil. With the Oden Factory 810mm barrel you increase the range even further and get more bullet speed and recoil control. The Commando foregrip grip also increases the control of the weapon. With the Tactical Laser and the FTAC XL Elite wedge stock you at least compensate a little bit for the very slow aiming time.
For multiplayer, you should focus less on range and more on mobility, but for Warzone, this setup is an excellent companion. Make sure you make use of the weapon's range and stay out of close combat (if possible), as you will be outmatched by weapons with a higher fire rate. To take full advantage of the Oden's strengths, try to get as many hits to the head or torso as possible. Every hit counts with the low fire rate when you try to take on other assault rifles.
With the nerfs to some of the main guns, the time is now for trying out different options. Give this setup a try and tell us how it went!
