Season 7 of Apex Legends, dubbed Ascension, is just around the corner, and it’ll add a new map, a new legend, clubs, and the Trident vehicle. And mind you, the latter can hold a full squad!

Apex Legends is about to get a huge update on November 4. That’s when Season 7 Ascension is set to begin and it’ll bring a lot of new features. Yesterday, Respawn Entertainment revealed another Stories from the Outlands video dedicated to the upcoming legend – Horizon. We've got a lot to cover, so let's have a quick look at every change and novelty that Apex Legends Season 7 will bring to the game.

A New Legend: Horizon

Horizon is “a brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and aims to use her newfound mastery of gravity to keep a promise.” She also has a very thick… Scottish accent. Her abilities are still not clear but there’s a high chance we’ll get a glimpse of them before the big release on November 4.

A New Map: Olympus

Rumors of Olympus being the next map in Apex Legends have been circling around for months, ever since the end of The Broken Ghost questline. Olympus is a beautiful city in the clouds and there’ll definitely be some fall hazards just like in every other map so far. What makes the new map special will be its size.

A Vehicle: The Trident

Apex Legends will get its first-ever vehicle with Season 7 and that’ll be the Trident. According to the official website, it’ll be quite useful for covering the huge surface of Olympus. The best thing about it is that it will fit your whole squad in it. Imagine the possibilities! We can’t help but get some Clone Wars vibes from it.

The brand-new feature Clubs was also hinted at previously. It’s certainly the game’s vision of guilds, something commonly found in many other multiplayer games that focus on the social aspect, like WoW. We’re pretty certain that the addition of Clubs guarantees some new quests and rewards tied to them.

Steam Launch

Apex Legends has been out for over a year and a half and there has been one question throughout all that time. Why isn’t it on Steam? During the EA Play event, the developers revealed that both a Steam launch and cross-play are coming this fall. Well, the Steam version of the game is finally around the corner. Let’s just hope we'll be able to migrate our Origin accounts to Steam, so we don’t start from scratch.

New Battle Pass & Ranked Season

Just like every season before Ascension will introduce an all-new Battle Pass. Expect over 100 exclusive items including packs, sprays, skins, emotes, and more. In addition to that, there’s also the new ranked season and the soft reset that comes along with it.
