Season 8 of Apex Legends is already in its second week and a hotfix update was deployed yesterday. Patch 1.58 fixes bugs related to Bloodhound, explosive holds, and more.
Apex Legends’ latest season brought plenty of new stuff into the game including the new legend Fuse, the 30-30 Repeater, Obliterated Kings Canyon, and much more. Despite that, some bugs are always to be found but Respawn were quick to respond with Patch 1.58.
So what did the new patch actually fix?
Eye of the Allfather Bug
Bloodhound is one of the top legends in the current meta and it’s no surprise you’ll see the character more often than ever. Eye of the Allfather is a crucial component in Bloodhound’s kit that provides a lot of information for the whole team. In one certain scenario, the tactical wouldn’t reveal the enemies you've actually scanned.

We’re talking about two Bloodhounds using Eye of the Allfather at the same time. The first scan will go just fine, but the second Bloodhound wouldn't get any results. With Patch 1.58 the bug is a thing of the past so Bloodhound players may finally rejoice and slatra.
Another big addition in Season 8 that went under the radar for many players is the explosive holds. These caches packed with items are easy to access if you have any type of grenade in your inventory. Simply hold the interact button and voila!
The thing is players would often get stuck when trying to enter the holds.
Whether the latest update resolves the issue completely remains to be seen. In any case, Respawn are quite aware of the situation and we have no doubt they’ll be following it closely.
