Apex Legends servers are currently unavailable for most of the playerbase and there’s still no official statement neither by EA, nor by Respawn Entertainment.
If you’ve tried to login into Apex Legends today, chances are you’ve probably failed to do so. Worry not though, as you’re not alone and the problem is certainly not on your end. Reports of people encountering server issues have skyrocketed in the past day with most users having trouble connecting. Some players are able to log in and even join a game, so if you’re one of them, consider yourself one of the lucky few.
Both EA and Respawn Entertainment have remained silent on the matter with no official statement from either of them. According to DownDetector, a site often used to check for outages, Apex Legends servers had a spike of problems today.
Server and connectivity issues are not something new for Apex Legends players as the title has had numerous issues in the past. There’s a huge possibility Respawn is already on the job and the problem will be resolved in a timely manner. In fact, it could already be at the time of writing of this article. A good way to check if the devs are investigating an issue is the public Trello board for Apex Legends. It’s free, easy to access, and gives you a good idea of what’s about to get fixed.
