Yesterday, Respawn Entertainment introduced the latest legendary skin into Apex Legends. The Pathfinder Edition is the fourth one to be added to the game.
After having editions for Bloodhound, Lifeline and Octane, now it’s Pathfinder’s turn. The friendly robot gets a special mix with the Pathfinder Edition. The bundle contains the following items:
- Legendary “Full Metal Robot” Pathfinder skin
- Legendary “First Blood” Havoc Rifle skin
- Exclusive “Molotov Cocktail” Gun Charm
- Exclusive “Lone Bot” Badge
- 1,000 Apex Coins
Follow the trail to glory with the Pathfinder Edition. It’s locked and loaded with everything you’ll want for your next expedition. Whatever dangers the journey ahead holds, you’ll meet them head on with a super cool bandana, back-in-fashion camo shorts, and a can-do attitude.
The announcement was released yesterday and opinions were mixed. Varying from excited to comments that people should buy the bundle when Pathfinder’s Grappling Hook cooldown gets lower than the duration of the trailer. While this might seem like a bad joke, Pathfinder received a hard nerf to his ability in one of the last few patches as the cooldown increased drastically from 15 to 25 seconds.
While Apex Legends itself may be free, the Pathfinder Edition comes at a price of $20. It’s purely optional but for anyone who wants to get some extra cosmetics it’s quite the deal. The 1000 Apex Coins alone cost $10 so the rest of the bundle which contains a legend skin, a weapon skin, a gun charm and a badge basically come at the same price. If you ever wanted to feel like robot Rambo, now’s not a bad time to do so in Apex.
The game recently kicked off its fifth season, adding a new legend, a PvE mode, a map rework, a new Battle Pass and much more. Stay tuned for more Apex Legends news and make sure to check out EarlyGame for more updates from the world of gaming.
