Will the Battle Royale shooter Apex Legends get a cool new feature soon? According to a data miner's leak, we could soon be expecting a club feature similar to clans or guilds.
Recently things have been a bit quieter around Apex Legends, the surprise hit of the 2019 gaming year, but in addition to the current PvE quest, which is entering its final phase, a new killer feature could soon be waiting for us. That's what a data miner's leak reveals: Are the Apex Legends Clubs coming soon?
Apex Legends Clubs Leaked
The leak comes from the well-known data miner "Shrugtal", who presents the innovations of the Apex Legends Club feature in a video. According to the video, while browsing through the game files he came across hints about IDs, privacy settings, and member invitations of the clubs.
Electronic Arts have yet to officially announce the new feature for Apex Legends, but there are some indications that it may be introduced soon - even before the planned Apex Legends Crossplay.
According to Shrugtal, clubs should have different ranks of members, while high-ranking members - just like in a clan - can manage the interests of the club and, for example, throw other players out. The data miner assumes that the clubs will have their own point in the main menu of the game and even have internal chat rooms. A feature that has not yet been officially confirmed.
It remains to be seen whether the clubs will really be coming into Apex Legends in the foreseeable future. Maybe it's something we should expect in Apex Legends Season 6? It would make sense to use this feature, as Apex Legends is team-oriented - a very useful feature especially with regard to crossplay support.
