Amazon Luna Revealed: Next Gen 4K Streaming-Gaming

Amazon Luna is here and will deliver next-gen streaming at 4K and 60fps. What a good time to be a gamer. Where there’s choice, us, the gamers, are the winners. Now we’ve got Luna, Stadia and Game Pass to choose between - and that’s just on the streaming side of things. With the PS5 and Xbox Series X & S around the corner, there surely is something out there for everyone.

Amazon Luna offers a similar experience to the other streaming services: You pay a monthly fee and get access to the service’s library. Some of the notable games are:

  • Resident Evil 7
  • Control
  • A Plague Tale
  • Yooka Laylee
  • The Impossible Lair
  • GRID
  • Abzu
  • Brothers: A tale of Two Sons
  • The Surge 2
  • Panzer Dragoon

While Stadia and Xbox’s Game Pass weigh in at $9,99 a month, Amazon Luna will be available at just $5.99. Subscribers can stream games on tablets, phones, computers and, yes, on iOS. Amazon was able to avoid Apple’s policy by providing the service via Safari. Clever.

Games can be played on two separate devices with just one subscription and the Luna controller, which apparently provides 20ms less delay than Bluetooth thanks to Cloud streaming, will set you back $49.99.

Sounds very interesting. Beta sign-ups are open now and beta access will roll out throughout October.

Stay tuned for more.
